Join us every Thursday for a morning of messy, sensory fun designed especially for children under 5!
Our relaxed, free-flow sessions offer a variety of messy and sensory play stations, encouraging little ones to explore, create, and enjoy at their own pace.
All of our sensory bases are taste-safe and non-toxic, so little hands (and mouths!) can explore safely.
Parents and carers can enjoy a hot drink while the children play, and we always finish with a biscuit and storytime to round off the session.
When the sun is shining, we take the fun outdoors into our safe, enclosed garden – perfect for little adventurers.
We recommend children wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy, and it’s always handy to bring along a change of clothes for the journey home.
Facilities include free on-site parking, toilets, and baby changing, making it easy and stress-free for families to join in the fun.
We also offer bulk term-time bookings at a discounted price, making it simple to secure your spot week after week.

Summer Holiday Sessions
We know how hard it is to keep little ones entertained through the long summer holidays when many toddler groups close. That's why we keep going through the summer!
Our Explorers Summer Holiday Sessions are designed for children aged up to 6 years, offering a magical mix of messy play, discovery, and imagination.
Each session is carefully planned to spark curiosity and encourage open-ended play in a safe, welcoming environment. Activities are themed and sensory-rich, giving children the freedom to explore, create, and get stuck into the fun at their own pace.
Sessions will take place either indoors or outside in our secure, enclosed garden, depending on the weather—so little explorers can enjoy the best of both worlds, whatever the forecast.

Please note whilst we run as often as possible through the summer there will be some weeks when sessions don't run, so please check our schedule.
Halloween Special - Spooktacular Messy Play
Get ready for a spooktacular messy play adventure this Halloween at Explorers! Designed especially for children up to age 6, our Halloween Special is packed with themed sensory trays, spooky surprises, and plenty of hands-on fun to spark imagination and creativity.
Little explorers can dive into pumpkin-inspired play, creepy-crawly discoveries, potion mixing, and seasonal crafts—all in a safe, relaxed environment where they can explore at their own pace. Costumes are very welcome, but not essential!
The session will be held either indoors or outside in our secure, enclosed garden, depending on the weather, so the fun can continue whatever the forecast.
Join us for a frightfully fun session full of messy moments, giggles, and magical Halloween memories, plus every child will take home their own party bag
