Join us every Thursday for a morning of messy, sensory fun designed especially for children under 5!
Our relaxed, free-flow sessions offer a variety of messy and sensory play stations, encouraging little ones to explore, create, and enjoy at their own pace.
All of our sensory bases are taste-safe and non-toxic, so little hands (and mouths!) can explore safely.
Parents and carers can enjoy a hot drink while the children play, and we always finish with a biscuit and storytime to round off the session.
When the sun is shining, we take the fun outdoors into our safe, enclosed garden – perfect for little adventurers.
We recommend children wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy, and it’s always handy to bring along a change of clothes for the journey home.
Facilities include free on-site parking, toilets, and baby changing, making it easy and stress-free for families to join in the fun.
We also offer bulk term-time bookings at a discounted price, making it simple to secure your spot week after week.

Valentine's Special - Lovely Messy Play
This Valentine’s, we’re celebrating love, kindness and connection the Explorers way – through hands-on, joyful messy play. Our Valentine’s half term Special session on Thursday 19th February is packed with themed sensory trays designed to spark curiosity, creativity and lots of giggles for little explorers.
Children will enjoy exploring colours, textures and materials inspired by hearts, kindness and friendship, while grown-ups can relax with a free hot drink and soak up the moment. As always, our sessions are thoughtfully set up for under-5s, with space to play freely at their own pace.
Includes everything from our regular sessions, plus a special Valentine’s treat for every child. Free on-site parking is available, along with toilets and baby changing facilities.

Easter Special - Hoptastic Messy Fun
Hop into spring with our Explorers Easter Special, a relaxed and playful messy play session created especially for curious little hands. This session focuses on open-ended sensory play, giving children the freedom to explore, experiment and create in their own way.
Little explorers will discover a range of spring and Easter-inspired play invitations, from scooping and pouring to squishing, mixing and mark-making. It’s a wonderful opportunity to support early development while enjoying unhurried, screen-free time together. Adults can settle in with a free hot drink and enjoy watching their child lead their own play.
As with all Explorers sessions, the Easter Special includes everything you know and love, plus a small Easter treat for every child. Free on-site parking, toilets and baby changing facilities are available.
