Explorers
Join us every Thursday for a morning of messy, sensory fun designed especially for children under 5!
Our relaxed, free-flow sessions offer a variety of messy and sensory play stations, encouraging little ones to explore, create, and enjoy at their own pace.
All of our sensory bases are taste-safe and non-toxic, so little hands (and mouths!) can explore safely.
Parents and carers can enjoy a hot drink while the children play, and we always finish with a biscuit and storytime to round off the session.
When the sun is shining, we take the fun outdoors into our safe, enclosed garden – perfect for little adventurers.
We recommend children wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy, and it’s always handy to bring along a change of clothes for the journey home.
Facilities include free on-site parking, toilets, and baby changing, making it easy and stress-free for families to join in the fun.
We also offer bulk term-time bookings at a discounted price, making it simple to secure your spot week after week.

Come and celebrate with us at a very special birthday party packed with all the messy, playful fun you know and love from Explorers!
We’ll have a fantastic birthday-themed session full of opportunities for little explorers to play, create, discover and get messy — plus every child will receive their very own party bag to take home!
As always, you can expect all the usual Explorers conveniences, including free hot drinks for grown-ups, biscuits for the children, toilets, baby changing and free parking.
It’s the perfect way to celebrate 4 wonderful years of Explorers with our amazing little explorers and their grown-ups.

Halloween Special - Spooktacular Messy Play
Get ready for a spooktacular messy play adventure this Halloween at Explorers! Designed especially for children up to age 6, our Halloween Special is packed with themed sensory trays, spooky surprises, and plenty of hands-on fun to spark imagination and creativity.
Little explorers can dive into pumpkin-inspired play, creepy-crawly discoveries, potion mixing, and seasonal crafts—all in a safe, relaxed environment where they can explore at their own pace. Costumes are very welcome, but not essential!
The session will be held either indoors or outside in our secure, enclosed garden, depending on the weather, so the fun can continue whatever the forecast.
